What is Project RIBBONS?
RIBBONS stands for: Reclaiming Identity, Breaking Barriers, Opening New Spaces.
We are a collective of voices, survivors, advocates, and allies working to:
- Reclaim our stories and honor the resilience within our communities.
- Break down barriers of stigma, silence, and inequity in gynecologic cancer and women’s health.
- Open new spaces for healing, advocacy, and representation — especially centering Black and Brown voices.
Project RIBBONS is where lived experience meets advocacy, and where stories become a powerful force for change.

I specialize in advocacy training, culturally competent health education, and creating safe spaces that empower women — especially Black and Brown communities — to reclaim their voice and break barriers in healthcare
Advocate with Lived Experience
My training style is raw, real, and rooted in lived experience. I combine professional advocacy tools with my personal journey as a Black woman, mother, and cancer survivor to create a space that feels both educational and healing.
I don’t just give you theory — I teach you how to use your story as a tool for impact. I center cultural competency, equity, and authenticity so that every advocate feels empowered to lead in their own voice.
